Elliott Raia is an economics and government double major at The University of Texas at Austin. He has extensive legislative experience having worked twice in the Texas House of Representatives as well as the 2016 Republican National Convention. For the past year, Raia has served as a research associate in the Center for Fiscal Policy and Center for Economic Prosperity at the Texas Public Policy Foundation. During his time there, he has become an accomplished writer having published two comprehensive white-page research reports as well more than a dozen articles that have run throughout Texas and the country. After graduating, Raia will continue his education in economics as he looks to become an even more effective advocate of free-market based solutions to the country’s toughest policy challenges.
