Biography
Gabrielle Rodrigues is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in English and minoring in African and African diaspora studies. Recently completing an internship at Austin Community Law Center, she plans to pursue her J.D. in the fall to prepare for a career in human and civil rights law. Passionate about women's and children's rights, Rodrigues has spent the bulk of her collegiate career participating in local Austin communities as an Austin City Hall Fellow. She even travelled to Cape Town, South Africa, where she interned for a women's empowerment nonprofit. When she is not writing papers or reading novels, Rodrigues enjoys pruning her photography skills and freelance writing.
