Biography
Michelle Landry is a historical studies major and member of the Collegium V Honors College at The University of Texas at Dallas. She presented at the Texas A&M Student History Conference, recorded oral history interviews for Remembering Black Dallas, and is the 2017 recipient of the Gavin Hambly Award from the UT Dallas History Department. As president of No Labels, Landry worked with Battleground Texas to promote voter registration. In March 2017, she canvassed for Cory Montfort’s Richardson City Council Campaign. Landry also worked as a legislative aide for Jenna’s Law. From July onward, she worked as a fellow at Colin Allred for Congress. Upon graduation, Landry plans to pursue a career as a voting rights attorney.
