Rachel Bhalla is a student majoring in government and history at The University of Texas at Austin. She studied abroad at University College London, focusing on British history and political science. Bhalla has interned in the offices of State Representatives Jason Isaac and Ryan Guillen as well as at the law firm Eastman-Meyler PC. On campus, she is an active member of Kappa Delta, and has served as an appointed officer and committee member for Shamrock, the largest philanthropy event of the year. Bhalla has been involved in multiple student government committees, concentrating on the areas of improving the recruitment and retention of underrepresented student groups, as well as awarding study abroad financial aid. She is interested in pursuing a career working in international human rights policy and law.
