Biography
Jann (Renzo) Soto is a student at The University of Texas at Austin pursuing a double-major in philosophy and government. In the past, he has interned for Project Vote Smart and the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association. Most recently, Soto worked at the Texas House of Representatives as a legislative aide. Born in the Philippines to a family immersed in the medical field, he is passionate about health and human services policies and their effects on indigent populations. Upon graduation, Soto plans on returning to the Texas House for the 86th Legislative Session until returning to school to pursue a law degree in 2019.
