Biography

Alyssa Ashcraft is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin studying government and humanities with a minor in Arabic and a certificate in public policy. Her interests include education and how related policies affect the rights of marginalized communities. On campus, she has served as the academic affairs director for the Liberal Arts Council, membership director of the Alternative Breaks Program, and the founder of the University’s Professional Clothing Closet. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a dual degree in law and public policy.
