Biography
Amahree Archie is a student at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in government and African and African Diaspora studies. On campus, she volunteered with UT Law’s Expunction Project and Austin Gentrification’s Research Project and currently holds the title as director of talent acquisition for the Gateway Scholars Mentor Program. Recently, Archie had the great honor of interning with Texas House Representative Eric Johnson (D-100) and soon after traveled to Beijing China to teach English to middle school students from underprivileged villages. Once graduating, she hopes to pursue a career in law and eventually run for public office.
