Biography
Anilya Krishnan is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin studying government and history with a certificate in public policy. Her interests include immigration policy reform and advocacy work on behalf of marginalized communities. On campus, she has served as the Membership Director for Liberal Arts Council, a Texas Civic Ambassador with the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life, and as a member of Texas Orange Jackets and Texas Spirits. Off campus, Krishnan has interned in the offices of Congressman Lloyd Doggett (TX-35) and State Representative Celia Israel (TX-50). After graduation, she plans to pursue a dual graduate degree in law and public policy.
