Biography
Anna Schaeffer is a junior McDermott Scholar at The University of Texas at Dallas studying international political economy with minors in history and criminology. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she runs cross country for UTD, competed with Model United Nations around the country, and worked as a staff writer for the university newspaper, The Mercury. She has written for Morocco World News in Rabat, Morocco; interned in the Immigration Department at the International Rescue Committee; and enjoys tutoring in Dallas through Heart House, a local nonprofit.
