Biography
James Treuthardt is a journalism and finance senior attending The University of Texas at Austin. Growing up as a low-incomestudent, Treuthardt saw the ways many student's life outcomes were determined by where they were born. At UT Austin, he served as president of Students Expanding Austin Literacy (SEAL), a service organization that provides reading buddies to low-income elementary school students. He was also a member of Communication Council, The Daily Texan, Texas Blazers, and The Guides of Texas. He is interested in continuing his work in education in D.C.
