Biography
Joshua Mathew is a student at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley pursuing degree in biology. During Mathew's time at UTRGV, he has worked closely with the United States Department of Agriculture conducting research in Edinburg, Texas and Albany, California. Through his research in California, Mathew published an article in the Rio Grande Valley Ag Mag. Additionally, he has participated in the Summer Health Professions Education Program sponsored by the UT Health Science Center - Houston. Mathew’s passion is dentistry, and is planning on attending the UT Health School of Dentistry as part of the Class of 2024 where he plans to return to the Rio Grande Valley to serve those in need.
