Biography
Katie Balevic is a journalism and government senior at The University of Texas at Austin. She has spent several semesters as a reporter at The Daily Texan, the University's newspaper, covering student government, the UT System and the Texas Legislature. Balevic also interned at the Victoria Advocate and The Daily Dot. This past fall, she spent her semester in New York City with the UT New York program as part of its inaugural cohort.
