Biography
Katie Hindes is a third-year student at The University of Texas at Austin pursuing a dual degree in government and social work. On campus, she is active through internships on campaigns and works with nonprofit organizations, such as Texas Civil Rights Project, Deeds Not Words, and NARAL Pro-Choice Texas. On campus, Hindes continued her fight for women's rights and equality as the President of Girl Up and the Interpersonal Violence Prevention Policy Director of Student Government. Upon graduating from UT, she plans to obtain a graduate degree in social work and be a lifelong advocate for women across the globe.
