Biography
Roma Venkateswaran is a junior at The University of Texas at Dallas studying public policy. She is passionate about the power of stories to promote empathy and understanding among diverse perspectives. On campus, she participates in Mock Trial, Model UN, Roosevelt @ UTD, and 180 Degrees Consulting. She has interned with former Texas State Representative Eric Johnson (TX-100) and with Texans for the Arts. She also studied abroad on a U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholarship to study Hindi in Jaipur, India and researched Indian migration in Switzerland at the University of Basel.
