Biography
Aisha Mahama-Rodriguez is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in government and English and minoring in French and political communication. On campus, she serves as an undergraduate fellow for the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy, as a student ambassador for the UT Office of Admissions, and served as agency co-director in UT Austin Student Government. To further engage in civil rights advocacy, she has interned with the Texas Civil Rights Project and for the Office of State Representative Trey Martinez Fischer (D-116). After graduating, Mahama-Rodriguez plans to pursue a dual law degree and doctorate to create equitable social policies and defend civil rights.
