Biography
Carmen Dragun is a senior at The University of Texas Permian Basin majoring in accounting. She has previously worked with The Swallow Group in Midland, Texas, to learn about estate planning and oil and gas accounting. Dragun has also interned in the tax department of Johnson Miller & Co CPA firm. On campus, she is involved with UTPB Student Senate, where she chairs the Student Fee Committee. She also served as the student representative to the UT Permian Basin Emergency Task Force during the Coronavirus pandemic. Dragun has also served as UT Permian Basin’s Student Body President. After graduation, Dragun intends to pursue a career in tax law and to find policy solutions for taxation equity issues.
