Biography
Ahana Samat is a junior at The University of Texas at Dallas majoring in economics with a minor in psychology. Samat is an avid blogger on the topic of financial and economic confidence and its intersection with gender and has experience volunteering with financial literacy non-profits. Additionally, her writing skills have been strengthened through her experience as a copywriter. As an Academic Excellence Scholar with gained expertise in macroeconomics as a Supplemental Instruction leader and an interest in behavioral economics, Samat plans to pursue a master’s degree in economics after graduation.
