Anjitha Nair is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in computer science with a certificate in public policy. On campus, she has served as the deputy chief of staff and outreach director of Student Government, a board member of the University Unions, and a freshmen mentor in the Department of Computer Science. Nair has sought to bring more people of her generation into the political process as TX Votes’ senior digital committee chair, a Texas Civic Ambassador, and an intern at the Austin Tech Alliance and Campus Vote Project. She has also worked in the technology and financial sector as an intern at Ericsson and DTCC. After graduation, Nair plans to attend business school and pursue a career in public service to ensure that the economic benefits and opportunities of technological innovation are felt across America.
