Biography
Henry CuellarChristopher Lira is a senior at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley majoring in psychology with a minor in legal studies. The son of Mexican immigrants, Lira has had a strong interest in the law and how it interacts with society. Off campus, he has worked as a volunteer at the Brownsville Municipal Court in the youth assistance program and recently interned with the Texas State Legislature for State Representative Eddie Lucio III (TX-27). After graduation, Lira hopes to obtain a law degree from The University of Texas at Austin, work as an assistant district attorney, and one day run for public office.
