Biography

Jeremiah Baldwin is a junior in the Liberal Arts Honors program at The University of Texas at Austin triple majoring in government, rhetoric and writing, and African and African Diaspora studies with minors in educational psychology and queer studies. To further understand the field of civil rights advocacy, Baldwin is pursuing a certificate in human rights and social justice in the Bridging Disciplines Program. On campus, Baldwin was a university-wide representative for the 115th Student Government Assembly, the director of operations for the Multicultural Engagement Center’s Afrikan American Affairs agency, a competitor on the Texas Speech Team, and a campus tour guide. Off campus, he has interned for Judge Inna Klein in Texas’ 214th District Court and for the 180 Group, Inc. at their Minnesota office. Upon graduation, Baldwin plans to pursue a dual law and doctoral degree to help ensure the protection of each person’s civil rights under the law.
