Biography
Lauryn Davis is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in ecology, evolution, and behavior biology with a minor in African and African Diaspora studies. Davis has always had a strong interest in education, the environment, and social justice—these interests led her to politics and with a desire to influence environmental policy. On campus, Davis has volunteered with J.J. Pickle Research UT Biodiversity Collections, and she is a member of the Half-Pint Prairie team. Off campus, she has held internships at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and Austin Wildlife Rescue. After graduation, Davis plans to pursue a career in environmental law and continue to advocate for women and minorities.
