Biography
Mara Sherry is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in international relations and global studies. On campus, she is actively involved in the Liberal Arts Honors program and the University Catholic Center. Sherry also served as a counselor for Texas Exes’ Camp Texas and spent the last year as a research apprentice and Signature Course undergraduate assistant in the Department of Sociology. She recently completed an internship with the Department of Family and Protective Services’ Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Division. After graduation, Sherry plans to pursue a career in public service and has an interest in human rights law.
