Biography
Nicolas Gonzalez is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin double majoring in Plan II Honors and government. His time at UT Austin has been marked by mentorship and civic engagement, and after directing the Longhorn Legislative Aides of UT Student Government, he went on to become the organization’s administrative director. He has conducted research on the U.S. Supreme Court’s treatment of civil rights cases and worked as a college application tutor in KIPP Charter Schools. After graduation, Gonzalez intends to pursue law school and work to incentivize business in his hometown of El Paso, TX.
