Vikti Mehta is a junior at The University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in finance with a concentration in investment management. During her time in the Top Scholar Program, she has identified passions for business, public policy, and civic engagement. She has interned for the UT San Antonio Small Business Development Center and Fidelity Investments to gain real-world experience with finance in different communities. She was also a peer mentor for first-year students and is vice president of the Global Business Brigades where she teaches ESL and financial literacy lessons to the San Antonio refugee population. This summer she will be working with Ernst & Young as a technology risk consulting intern. After graduation, Mehta plans to work in the professional services industry and pursue a master’s degree in business administration.
