Yahia Al-Qudah is a junior at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. On campus, Al-Qudah has been actively involved in the Student Government Association as a senator, chair of the senate, and most recently served as student vice president. He was also the vice president of voting for the Civic Engagement Alliance to increase voter registration and voter turnout in the Rio Grande Valley. As president for the American Medical Student Association, Al-Qudah worked to promote health advocacy and education, application enhancement for premedical students, and volunteering opportunities. He enjoys volunteering at Valley Baptist Medical Center and hosting engineering camps for upcoming high school students. Upon graduation, Al-Qudah plans to attend medical school and eventually establish a health advocacy think tank in the Rio Grande Valley.
