Biography
Eliesha Perez is a senior at The University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in global affairs with a minor in economics. On campus, she has worked as a UTSA Honors College student assistant, served twice as the public relations coordinator for the Volunteer Organization Involving Community, Education, and Service (VOICES), served as coordinator and two-time trip leader for the Alternative Break Program, and was a member of the Filipino Student Association. Off campus, Perez has served twice as a summer AmeriCorps program assistant in Dallas, Texas, with Heart House, an educational nonprofit. After graduation, Perez hopes to work in the nonprofit/NGO sector, focusing on the development and education of disadvantaged youth.
