Biography
Hannya Flores is a senior at The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley majoring in political science with a minor in psychology. On campus, she has served as a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and as vice president of the Political Science Association, a student organization that collaborates with significant community and national organizations such as NextGen America and LUPE. Off campus, Flores volunteered for Michelle Vallejo’s election campaign for U.S. Congress (TX-15). As a daughter of immigrants, Flores understands the need for equity and advocacy of mental health in minority communities, and after graduation, she plans to earn a law degree.
