Biography
Sabrina Lu is a junior Polymathic Scholar at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in neuroscience with minors in Chinese and informatics. On campus, she is involved in Texas Spirits, the Polymathic Scholars Leadership Panel, and Fika ATX, an organization she founded that hopes to broaden science student awareness of various professional opportunities. Additionally, Lu has done research in a variety of disciplines, ranging from data analytics of metabolites in wine varietals in the Supramolecular Sensor Research Lab to qualitatively analyzing discrimination of Muslim women on Twitter. Lu is interested in technology policy research and implementation, particularly that of broadband equity and access.
