Tyler Burkhardt is a junior at The University of Texas at Dallas majoring in public affairs with minors in physics and international political economy. On campus, he has served as editor-in-chief of UT Dallas’s student newspaper, The Mercury, and led the Model United Nations team. Alongside those roles, he has also interned for the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation and the City of Duncanville. In 2022, Burkhardt was named to the White House Historical Association’s Next-Gen Leaders Fellowship. He loves the outdoors and in his free time enjoys fishing, skiing, and playing trivia or board games. After graduation, he hopes to pursue further education and a career in public service, with current interests in water law and local government.
