Yousef Hashmi is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in government with a minor in sociology. His interests are foreign affairs and public policy. On campus, Hashmi has served as the treasurer, recruitment chair, and locke forward for UT Austin Men's rugby team. He has also been a member of the Texas Enactus Project and the Delta Epsilon Psi fraternity. Off campus, he has served as a legislative and communications intern for the Office of Texas State Representative Ryan Guillen, (HD-31) a legal intern for Bower PLLC, and an intern for AMY Holding LLC Commercial Real Estate Investment Group. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, boxing, traveling, and automotive off-roading. After graduation, Hashmi plans to attend law school and pursue a career in politics.
