Khoi Nguyen is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in government with a minor in applied economics. Nguyen is passionate about public service and making government work for people. On campus, he has been involved in Student Government, Texas Future Lawyers, and Texas Political Consulting to help engage young people in politics and policymaking. Off campus, Nguyen held internships with Holland & Knight’s Austin office and served with the Office of State Representative Nicole Collier (HD-95), where he worked on appropriations and fiscal matters. Additionally, he interned with Harris County Commissioner Lesley Briones, where he assisted policy advisors in researching healthcare and budget policy implications. After graduation, he plans to pursue law school, focusing on appropriations and fiscal policy.
